Sustainability honoured –
ISL receives the prestigious
EcoVadis silver medal

ISL-Chemie GmbH & Co. KG has been rated by EcoVadis since 2013 and has improved from rating to rating.

The overall EcoVadis rating reflects how companies deal with their economic and social impact on the environment. EcoVadis is recognised as one of the world’s leading institutions for assessing corporate responsibility, which is divided into four subject areas: Environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In total, EcoVadis analyses the sustainability management of more than 100,000 companies worldwide.

ISL currently has an overall rating of 68 out of 100 points. ISL achieved the greatest improvement compared to the last evaluation in the area of “Ethics”, in which 70 points were achieved. ISL’s commitment also scored an impressive 70 points in the two categories “Environment” and “Labour and human rights”.

Thanks to the good result, ISL-Chemie GmbH & Co. KG is among the top twenty per cent of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the field of “Manufacture of paints and varnishes and similar coatings, printing inks and mastics”.
