Isopur – Coloring PU Systems
PU paints from ISL are precisely matched to the requirements of the different PU systems. For example, the individual ISOPUR series are based on different binders, including polyols based on renewable raw materials and polymer plasticizers. The special adaptations are developed and used specifically for the respective PU system.
Selected products fulfill the most diverse requirements of end customers with regard to emissions, according to VDA 278, PAH values, conformities, e.g., according to the German Commodities Ordinance (BedGgstV) or the Oeko-Tex Directive.
We achieve coverage of the entire color spectrum by a careful selection of organic and inorganic pigments with high fastnesses and resistances.
On request, we will develop further adaptations for PU coloration at any time, individually tailored to your process and system conditions. The pastes can be added to the A-component in advance or processed via a mixing head dosing system.
Product Features & Advantages
- Binder base: special polyether polyols
- Suitable for ether systems
- For all common PU applications, including integral, rigid, semi-rigid, flexible foam as well as elastomer and casting systems
- Different viscosities (500-10,000 mPa.s) open up a wide range of applications with plant-specific incorporation options (e.g. on automatic metering systems)
- OH-functional binders enable chemical integration into the customer’s system (20-500 mg KOH/g)
- Careful selection of organic and inorganic pigments with high fastnesses and resistances
- Binder base: Esters-compatible polymers
- Suitable for ester systems
- Use in PU footwear, -soft foam, -casting systems and others.

- Careful selection of organic and inorganic pigments with high fastnesses and resistances
- Base: castor oil (bio-based, low water content)
- Suitable for coloring compact PU systems for coatings or potting compounds
- Low viscosity, thus suitable for use on volumetric and gravimetric mixing systems
- Despite low viscosity, the excellent rheological behavior ensures high storage stability with low settling behavior
- Base: polymer plasticizer, without reactive groups
- Suitable for coloring PU systems in which no reactive groups are to be introduced, e.g. prepolymers or moisture-curing systems
- Different viscosities (500-10,000 mPa.s) open up a wide range of applications with plant-specific incorporation options (e.g. on automatic metering systems)
- Careful selection of organic and inorganic pigments with high fastnesses and resistances
- UV stabilizer blend of various functional additives
- universally applicable in ether and ester foam
- Dosage range 0.5 – 5.0%
- liquid and therefore easy to dose
- effective against UV-induced yellowing of the system: the yellowing phenomena are delayed or reduced
- We offer you two options: Use of the UV stabilizer blends or addition of a UV stabilized color paste.
- Brightener stabilizer blend anti-scorch and anti-yellowing
- Universally applicable in ether and ester foam
- Dosage range 0.5 – 5.0%
- Liquid and therefore easy to dose
- Against thermal and UV-induced yellowing, combined with an optical brightener, e.g. for foams with an increased tendency to core discoloration, as well as for special foams with a low density, a high water content or flame retardant systems.
- Reduction of short- to medium-term yellowing of the PU foam
- Einsatz für Produkte, bei denen ein „Super-Weiß-Effekt“ im Thermofoamingprozess gewünscht wird (z. B. in der Textilindustrie BH-Cups oder Schulterpolster)
- Core discoloration during the manufacturing process and yellowing as a result of the thermoforming process can be reduced by up to 50%.
- Optimization of the effect with combined dosing of a suitable white paste, e.g. MOLTOPREN White Paste RU 01
- Laser markings can be produced with all common organic and inorganic pigments in combination with the additive
- Generation of light and dark markings (by foaming or carbonization)
- Use of the markings as permanent lettering, graphic design or for design elements
- Laserability of even critical color shades
- Optimum dispersion through the use of state-of-the-art technology
- High active ingredient content combined with very good storage stability
- For various PU applications: Shoe components, electronic components, tools and many more.
